#13 Pursuing Freedom with Erin Bradley

Erin Bradley is a speaker and trainer, bestselling author, and host of the real estate podcast Pursuing Freedom. From flat broke to 6 figures, and then to burnout, Erin has been through it all, and quickly discovered that the stress of overwhelm is no less painful than the financial stress.

After redesigning her business to support her dream life, she’s been on a mission to teach her fellow real estate professionals to do the same. Erin operates under the mindset that you never give up, and you never settle, in life or in business. Anything is possible when you have the right mindset, great systems, and an amazing team.

On this show, Erin and Phil talk about Erin’s story and why she went into the mortgage business, and she eventually burned the ships to focus on what lights her up: coaching, podcasting, book and speaking career.

Erin explains what true freedom is, not financial freedom, but true freedom, and how fear dictates a lot of what we do. She gives us specific questions to ask ourselves to help design our life. I wish I could _______. It would be amazing if ________, and how many times we add the ‘but’ to the end of this, and the importance of digging into this. She explains that ego is often a source of fear and holds us back.

Erin and Phil discuss the importance of coaching and mentorship, and surrounding yourself with people that will make you better. Erin explains how every interaction is an opportunity to have an impact on others, and how giving value is just the right thing to do, it feels good, and how the business results or a biproduct of the value provided.

Finally, Erin explains how everyone knows the action steps it takes to get healthy, or the tactics, but the inside game, the inspiration and motivation behind the action are is what is really important.
